I wish I had something good to say about this place, but unfortunately there is little good to redeem all the problems I've had since moving in last spring. Here goes. THE GOOD: The place seemed to be a good deal. $650 per month with all utilities included; and the apartments seemed decent for the price. THAT SUMS UP THE GOOD. THE BAD:... Boy was I in for a shocker when I moved in. First off, the noise. Oh the NOISE. You'd better pray if you move in here that you have a quiet old lady living above you. If not, you may as well be living in the same apartment with your neighbors. Our neighbors, (all NINE of them living in a two bedroom); loved to blast their music at all hours and shouted at one another to communicate. I could have figured out a way to cope if management would have been the least bit interested in addressing this issue. They weren't. I called the Police. It did nothing. New management came in, and I am still, 10 months later, trying to resolve this issue with our nightmare neighbors. Maintenance is fair. I had an ant infestation and the maintenance guy came in to douse weed killer all over my apartment. My son and I were sick for weeks. My son has asthma. God only knows if what they sprayed was even legal to do around children or indoors. I tried to get an answer about this and was blown off and passed off to the new manager who has yet to address any of it. Corporate has not responded either. Here is my view on things. This is a low priced community with residents that match the price. Management wants to keep apartments full and rent paid at any cost. This is the only conclusion I can come to when there are obvious lease violations going on and yet they let everyone stay. Dogs poop in the yard without clean up, the yard floods with each rain, and have fun taking in your groceries all around the building since there's no parking in front of your front door. Kids steal laundry from the washers and dryers and there are lots of creeps on every side. There are few apartment complexes in Anderson that are worth living in. Try Applecreek or Cross Lakes. This place isn't worth it. **** UPDATE**** Disability reasonable accommodation violations during a flooding situation, leaving water shut of for over 24 hours for the ENTIRE complex. THIS PLACE SUCKSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The place sucks cops have to live there due to people selling drugs
I would not recomend this place at all specially if you are looking for something long term. This past year has been nothing but a nightmare with constant harrasement from upstairs neighbors that fight and scream at all hours of the night. No reponse from managment at all they care about absoutely nothing. I am so glad that we are moving tomorrow. If you do move here dont take a downstairs apartment I have to be fulltime on a walker and part time in a wheel chair so I had no choice. Ive lived in aparmtnets before and this by far is the worst experience ever. So happy we will be out of here tomorrow.
It seems like only the angry people post reviews. With as many apartments there are, the other 70 people must be happy. Try asking one of them.
I live here now in a three bedroom. The maintenance response sucks. Ive needed several things fixed for months but every time i have them scheduled to come they don't show. I now have a new urgent issue of a leak in my bathroom. They were suppose fix last Tuesday in jan. But they didn't show. I call yesterday to have it looked at cuz the leak is worse in ny bathroom causing a bad smell, mildew, and sopping wet carpet. Oh and its causing gnats. My kids have asthma snd i have nvr been treated so poorly by staff like today. Not to mention after trying all maintenance numbers and the owners number no response. Then there's the fact of the minor flooding on our sidewalks leading to the apts, the noise out here is horrible. Laundry gets stolen from the laundry room. Since new maintenance took over back n the fall nothing nvr gets fixed. This winter the laundry facilities pipes froze and that took days to fix. The laundry facilities are dirty alot times. Since new management took over they nvr have nobody n the office. That is unprofessional as well. And then theree the fact of lady bugs and stink bugs that nothing gets done bout. Im very disappointed in the staff here. I file a complaint on noise of the neigbors n they threatened me wit a gun last weekend n nothing got done. Smh! I pay 720$ a month i would expect repairs to b done n a timely manner but nope its not.
