Good place to have some family time, walk, bike, jog, etc. However, fishing in the lake is horrible! Killbuck creek is awesome for big largemouth, smallmouth, and rock bass. It runs along the backside of shadyside lake.
It is a good place to bring your kids and have fun. There is a wedding stand. Your kids can also play at the baseball diamond if there isn't a game going on. In the winter the hill by prairie farms is a good hill to go sledding down
The trail is very nice to walk around this time of year.
Good walking trails. Nice kids' areas.
