Academically AU stood me in good stead. In mid life I went to law school and practiced successfully until retirement. Whatever your goal ( s ), AU provides the friends, environment and academics to succeed.

Wow. Applied to AU three months ago and have been getting non stop text messages from "one of their staff" saying if you have questions contact me. Any question I asked the answer was the complete opposite of what whomever ACTUALLY works at the school told me. Now this person won't stop messaging me. Tried to report it to AU and they sent me to the "Anderson University Police Department" which was three times an automatic hangup. This school is obviously a joke and a waste of time. Only giving them one star because I had no other choice.

So excited to be a future Raven!

Incase anyone actually wants to know the real struggles of being a student here, then keep reading. I am currently a student and things just keep going downhill. The food is always bland in the cafeteria. They boast about having a variety of selections but the selections rang from a grill food, pasta, stir fry, tacos, and whatever nasty choice they have for the "homecooked style". It may seem like a lot, but when you actually sit through it and realize that the stuff is nasty and having to constantly eat that is sad. They also changed the meal plan which was good last year compared to the disaster it is this year. Why? Simply becasue they wanted to make more money and the school was upset that no one wanted to go eat in the cafeteria, but could you blame everyone with how bland and nasty the food is. Second they require you to be in a dorm on campus basically until your a senior or live with your parents. Just another excuse to charge us more money when in reality we could live off campus so much cheaper. Lastly is chapel, this is a time where we are supposed to connect with god in a time we all can get together and worship. It is a waste of time and effort. They spend 10 min just playing songs in the beginning, then spend the rest of the time listing to some dumb story of the speaker they decided to bring in. I could think of a hundred ways to spend my time rather than sitting in chapel ignoring whats happening. By the way it is required to go to 18 of them unless you are a nursing student then only have to go to 9. Which angers everyone because we think if you are gonna give special treatment to one major give it to all majors. Oh and if you are a freshman you are required to take lart which is right after chapel and if you think you have time to eat nope you better pack a lunch cause most don't get to eat until dinner. Also Lart is a sad excuse for an entrance class which you bond and learn more about yourself by forcing you to sit through one year of bull. If you have to fill out any form they pretty much throw you in the deep end while you figure things out yourself. Oh and one last thing while you are required to be on time and be attentively checking your emails the staff howeever is not required and can be neglagent. What that basicallly is, is them contradicting themselves while saying be professional when they can not even respond to an email. Keep in mind there are some good things but ignoring the major things the school tries to rob you from till you experience them and remain more frustrated is absolutly ridiculous.

AU was a great school for me. Never had a bad professor, nor bad experiences. Telling my age here, but celebrate yearly with my freshman dorm friends. That's going to be 52 years come September 20016. I don't know many people who can say thst. AU was the common core for each of us.

Love this school. Great memories here!
