This was absolutely the worse place I have seen in a nursing/rehab facility. From day one we had issues. My mother was there from Saturday - Friday. She received one shower. We were assured that Mom would be given sponge baths in between the scheduled showers. Did not know until yesterday, that never happened, not one time! We just assumed that baths were taken care of. Common things, like cold water, were only given at shift change. .could be at least 8 hours. We discussed alot of other serious issues with one of the staff members, and was told we needed to pick our battles! The best person there was Whitney. We had so many issues, too numerous to mention. My family was there everyday except one, to check on Mom. What happens to people that are just dropped off? Took Mom to Welbrooke Of Wabash last night. Amazing place, and the staff is wonderful!
The representative that met us at Kindred said she knew all my wife's meds and they could handle them. When she got there I was informed they don't push meds. We were lied to. Her health was bad, but I feel she passed earlier then needed.
